In the UK, there is an abundance of opportunities available from various organisations; Governments' and private businesses, to cater for individuals at various levels across the country.
Conversely, there are also a growing number of disadvantaged individuals and communities that are unable to benefit from these opportunities. "Helping Hand" aims to gather information from the various government organisations and businesses with the aim to bring them to the disadvantaged individuals and deprived communities.
Taking opportunities to the door steps - Taking the opportunities directly to individuals and communities and along with our support services are some of the unique services we provide to mitigate the risks they pose to society and help them to get a better future. Re-utilising the vast array of Government initiatives is extremely important to us and the main reason we started the project.
Collaboration - Helping is a project that works best in collaboration with organisations like Positive futures, Jobcentreplus, Department of work and Pension, Charities, The Police, Ministry of Justice, Connexions, Offender management programs, Pathfinder projects and many more Government agencies. You can contact us helpinghand@oguntala.com or call Ben Oguntala on 07812 039 867.
Every Housing Estate - Helping Hand does not compete with any existing organisations, conversely, we compliment your current activities by including it in our front line program that aims to target every Housing Estate, every immigrant and non-immigrant communities, church and other religious organisations, problem areas and others.
Breaking the lifecycle of crime - Tackling the problems of Gun crime and violence in general amongst youngsters as well as the economically inactive or unemployed is one that requires a concerted approach, one that is associated with the Contractual agreement that is signed with the Government in the form of signing on agreement, offender management agreement, ASBO or other agreements. Breaking the lifecycle of Crime is one the Key aspects of our objectives.
Contact with councils - We are initiating contacts with each council in the UK to sponsor the Pilot in their communities and we would appreciate contact from organisations that would like us to help them in achieving their goals as well as councils looking to kick off the project in the area. The project is designed to self sustain after 18 months of operation, it will as part of the pilot take on, for the duration of the project 5 individuals that will be trained up to manage and run the project based on the "Helping Hand framework".
